Fall Decor...
So I as usual I have been looking for cute and festive but easy on the money Fall/Thanksgiving decor to make. These are some of the things I came up with.

This Wreath is just burlap strips around a wire hanger. Yep just a hanger. I got the idea from a friend.

Simple Yarn Wreath? No! So much more....
Next year I will probably make the leaves smaller, so the wreath appears more full.
"What are you grateful for?"
Each leaf has one thing (per family member) per day, that we are grateful for. We should have 66 blessings to be reminded of by Thanksgiving. (The leaves are put on the wreath with sewing pins.)
More Christmas Crafting...
My mom recently went out to Idaho to visit one of my little sisters at college. While she was there she stopped at Porter's ( aka awesome craft store). She brought back materials for us to make this. So much fun!
Ornament Time!!!!
One of my dear friends from church and I wanted to get ready for the Christmas season a little early. Plus we just wanted a valid excuse for letting out kids play together while we did a craft. We decided to make ornaments together. Here is a sampling of our creations. It was so much fun! Next year we will have to start even earlier.
Baby Shower....
Recently I hosted a baby shower for a dear friend of mine from church. (She is having her first boy after 2 girls.) Thanks to my parents who let me use their house, and several other friends who brought lots of food and Pinterest:)...It turned out better than imagined. It was a fun evening.
Here are some pics from the event.
